Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Six fields generate your quote: your gender, date of birth, general health level in your own words, tobacco use status, coverage amount, and term length. That's all the tool needs to return carrier rates. Personal details like name, address and medical specifics are only requested if you proceed to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
What you see are the amounts each carrier quotes for the health class you selected. Underwriting determines your actual premium afterward, which may move your class up, down, or keep it the same. These quotes are for information only and are not an insurance offer or rate commitment.
What happens when I click Apply?
You provide your name, and the application is built from the quote you selected, then switches to the carriers' secure application platform. Pause and resume anytime, and you'll sign electronically when ready. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed insurance agency (License 0B75129), processes all applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
It varies by carrier, coverage amount and your answers. Some carriers with immediate-decision programs can approve eligible applicants without an exam; each quote specifies whether an exam is needed, possibly needed, or not needed for that particular carrier.
Is a longer term better?
Select a term that matches your obligations: your mortgage timeframe, how long children will need financial support, when a business loan matures. Longer terms mean higher monthly cost but lock in your rate for more years. The quote tool lets you compare all five options—10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years—at once.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool never collects identifiable information, we don't sell or trade visitor data, and all measurement is cookie-free. The privacy page has a full accounting of what gets collected and by whom.
